Morguard Embarks on ‘FEED’ Study Aimed at Reducing Environmental Impact of its Buildings in Ottawa, Ontario

Morguard is embarking on a front-end engineering design (FEED) study of a deep energy retrofit project at Jean Edmond Towers in Ottawa, Ontario. Along with their partner, Industrial Alliance, the study intends to reduce the environmental impact of its buildings in Ottawa, Ontario.

With support from Natural Resources Canada’s Green Infrastructure – Energy Efficient Buildings Program, Morguard’s FEED study project at Jean Edmond Towers aims to accelerate deep, climate-resilience building retrofits, transform space and water heating, and build net-zero and climate-resilient buildings. The Green Infrastructure program supports innovative environmental improvements through the design, renovation, and construction of Canadian buildings. The project will serve as a model for future retrofit projects in Morguard’s portfolio.
