As of March 2024, The Holt Renfrew store at 50 Bloor Street West celebrates 45 years of operation. Since its grand opening in March of 1979, the store has not only undergone significant transformations but has also become an integral part of Downtown Toronto’s landscape.

Once hailed as ‘the most beautiful store in town,’ the Holt Renfrew building originally featured a marble façade, which was replaced in 2020 with beige stone. Its elegant exterior reflects the luxury fashion brands it houses, solidifying its status as an icon in the Bloor-Yorkville area.
